Tattoo FAQ
What safety procedures do you take with your tattoo needles?
Needles are made in house to assure they are perfect for the work we will do. For example, we make one kind of needle for line work and another kind for shading. After the needles are made they are cleaned in a bath of green medical soap, then they are placed in a bath of germicide for ten minutes. Next they are placed in a sterile defend pouch before going into the autoclave sterilizer for 35 minutes. These needles are only used once and are then disposed of in a sharps container. You will see each pre-sterilized instrument opened before it is used, and you will see it disposed of after the procedure is complete.

What kind of tattoo would be right for me?
We offer two kinds of tattoos: flash and custom. Flash tattoos are designs that we have in the studio that you can pick from. We have a wide selection and if you don't have a specific design in mind you will probably find something you like. Custom means that you already have a picture or a design that you want us to turn into a tattoo. Even if you just have a concept in mind we can work with you to turn that concept into the perfect tattoo. We want you to be happy with your tattoo, so choose a design that you know you will be happy with for a long time.

Does it hurt to get a tattoo?
It does hurt a little bit to get a tattoo, but not nearly as much as getting an injection. Some people are more sensitive than others, and some parts of the body are more sensitive than others. Tylenol can help with the pain, but do not take asprin or ibuprofen or drink alcohol before getting a tattoo.
